These terms apply when you buy a TranslateLayer Pro license on translatelayer.com from Elite Studio Design, Utrecht, the Netherlands (“we”).
1. What you buy
TranslateLayer Pro is software for WordPress. Its code is licensed under the GNU General Public License, version 2 or later. A license key gives you, for the period of your plan, access to updates, support, automatic translation characters and use on the number of sites in your plan.
2. Trial
Each site can use one free 15-day trial. We may refuse or end a trial that is used to get around these terms.
3. Prices and payment
Prices are shown in euros. VAT is added at checkout where it applies. Plans are paid per year in advance.
4. Renewal
A license does not renew automatically. You can renew it from your account at any time; renewing adds a year to the current end date.
5. Translation characters
Each plan includes a number of translation characters per calendar month. Unused monthly characters do not carry over. Extra character packs do not expire while the license they belong to exists.
6. Right of withdrawal and refunds
The license key is digital content that is delivered right after payment. If you are a consumer in the EU, you agree at checkout that delivery starts immediately. We still offer a refund within 14 days of purchase, as described in our refund policy.
7. Fair use
Do not share license keys, resell translation characters, or use the license server in a way that harms other customers. We may suspend a license that breaks these terms after warning you.
8. Liability
We test TranslateLayer carefully, but we provide it as it is. Make backups before you install or update any plugin. Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the license in the last 12 months, except where the law does not allow such a limit.
9. Law
Dutch law applies. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the laws of the country you live in.
